2020 Regent Awards – Call for nominations

It is our pleasure to hereby call for nominations for the 2020 Regent Awards to be presented at the ACHE-NJ Annual Breakfast in January of 2020.

 

Please review the attached criteria as a guideline of the requirements for the awards. You may submit more than one person in a given category.

The five awards are:
1. Early Careerist
2. Senior Careerist
3. Business Partner
4. Innovation
5. Lifetime Achievement Award

The submission process is:
1. Submission deadline is October 11, 2019
2. Please submit a detailed letter as to how the nominee meets the criteria for the award
3. If possible please submit a CV or work history (you can provide the information from LinkedIn or other source if you do not want the nominee to know you are submitting their name)
4. Preference will be given to those that have shown consistent and dedicated service to ACHE and/or ACHENJ
5. Awardee announcement will be made on November 15, 2019

ACHE New Jersey Regents Awards Guidelines

Early careerist

1. Minimum 5 years but a maximum of 10 years working in a healthcare organization
2. Member of the ACHE (Fellow preferred)
3. Demonstrates service to ACHE or ACHENJ
4. Participates in community service
5. Provides a significant leadership contribution to their organization
6. Dedicated to the principals and ethics of the college

Senior careerist

1. Minimum 20 years working in a healthcare organization
2. Held a senior leadership role (VP or above)
3. Fellow of ACHE
4. Demonstrated service to ACHE or ACHENJ
5. Member of ACHE
6. Participates in community service
7. Provides a significant leadership contribution to their organization and the healthcare community
8. Dedicated to the principals and ethics of the college

Innovation—e.g. program, technology

1. Innovation provide demonstrated clinical or financial impact
2. Innovation can be in leadership as well as a specific program or service
3. May be awarded to an individual or a team
4. Does not have to be accomplished at a provider organization
5. Member of ACHE

Business Partner

1. Minimum of 15 years working in healthcare in a non-clinical setting (i.e. Physician Practice management or leadership, business partner to healthcare industry, consultant)
2. Held a leadership role
3. Fellow of ACHE preferred
4. Member of ACHE
5. Demonstrates service to ACHE or ACHENJ
6. Dedicated to the principals and ethics of the college
7. Contributes to the community at large

Lifetime Service to ACHE or ACHENJ

1. Held a leadership role in their organization
2. Fellow of ACHE preferred
3. Member of ACHE
4. Demonstrated consistent service over a professional career to ACHE or ACHENJ
5. Commitment to the ideals and standards of the ACHE
6. Participates in community service
7. Provided a unique service to the college or the chapter
8. Dedicated to the principals and ethics of the college
