Every year ACHE-NJ partners with organizations in our community in efforts to give back and support their needs. This year, as one part of our annual meeting drive, we are continuing our relationship with The Apostle’s House – a Newark based Women’s and children’s shelter. During these challenging times, we want to be safe as we support our community partners. ACHENJ has set up a Target Registry filled with items that the shelter is in need of. If you are able to donate, please visit the registry that has been created for ACHENJ members.

Virtual Food Drive
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, there been a 56% increase in food insecurity in the state of New Jersey, which is higher than the national average and the increases in our neighboring states. Currently, at least 1.2 million New Jerseyans are facing hunger.
This holiday season, starting Dec 9th, the ACHE-NJ Diversity and Inclusion Committee is launching an ACHE-NJ CARES Virtual Food Drive initiative for the Community Foodbank of New Jersey.
Our goal is to raise at least $2020 as part of our initiative.
Here is how you can get involved or donate:

· Donate! Keep in mind, every $25 donated by each ACHE-NJ member can provide at least 75 nutritious meals for our New Jersey families in need.
· Share our virtual food drive team link with others especially in your network! The more people we reach, the bigger impact we can make!
· As an organization, let’s help reduce hunger in our communities and support our neighbors in need and make a difference this holiday season.
