Responsibilities of ACHE-NJ President

Planning of all Educational offerings and meetings

  • Currently, regular meetings are bi-monthly
  • One program per year will be planned focusing on women’s issues.
  • Holiday gathering at some time near the winter holidays
  • Annual meeting is organized by the President

For each meeting

  • Determine date
  • Select speaker and topic
  • Send information to Secretary no less than one month prior to event to allow secretary to send program announcements
  • Send information to ACHE for credit
  • Arrange for food service and beverages
  • Arrange for audio visual support as needed- check with speaker
    -Overhead projector
    -LCD Projector
    -Laptop
    -Microphone
    -Screen
    -TV/ VCR /DVD
  • Create and distribute name tags
  • Create and distribute Certificates of Completion

Organization and planning of annual Category One education program

  • Select program, speaker and date
  • Arrange for printing and send Save the Date cards as soon as date is certain
  • Obtain location
  • Arrange for printing of invitations and send
  • Arrange for food service and beverages
  • Arrange for audio visual support as needed- check with speaker
    -Overhead projector
    -LCD Projector
    -Laptop Microphone
    -Screen
    -TV/ VCR /DVD
  • Create and distribute name tags
  • Create and distribute Certificates of Completion
  • Provide accounting for profit / loss on program to board

Hand off all information to incoming President-Elect in July
