December 10, 2009 - Save the Date for EMRgency Medicine - Are You Ready?

The HITECH Stimulus Act is part of President Obama's plan for full, nation-wide use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) by 2014. The act promotes EMR adoption by allocating funds to reimburse physicians for purchasing and using a qualified EMR system. In addition, healthcare providers who fail to adopt an EMR will eventually face reimbursement penalties. As a result, successful EMR implementations are top priority for most health information technology professionals, hospital administrators, physicians, nurses, and other ancillary staff.

The road to an EMR solution can be complex and daunting; and the best path to get there is still unclear. With many unanswered questions, and a ton of vendors and options to chose from, decision makers and stakeholders can be pulled in many directions when it comes to making the best decision. While there is plenty of media attention, little exists to help buyers understand what questions to ask and what to look for in achieving maximum benefits from the "Meaningful Use" dollars, or for that matter if "Meaningful Use" is even meaningful.
Join us on December 10th 2009 from 6:00-9:00 PM in Bedminster, NJ for two vital keynote presentations and an expert panel discussion bringing together leading EMR experts from around the globe to help you get you prepared!

Light fare and refreshments will be served.
